TextGrain Remover

Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026. This policy describes the independent TextGrain Remover site, its browser-local cleaner, optional accounts and consent-based analytics.

Text stays in your browser

We do not upload or persist the text entered into the character cleaner. It remains in page memory while you use the tool. Closing or reloading the page clears it. Copying uses your browser clipboard.

Accounts and email

Email sign-in uses Better Auth and Resend when configured. Account and session records on the public site are stored in Cloudflare D1. A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. One-time link requests expire after ten minutes. Email notifications are optional and off by default; we record your choice, confirmation time, source page and unsubscribe state separately from any payment records.

Abuse protection

Authentication applies persistent rate limits. Email request counters use hashed identifiers. Necessary session and authentication infrastructure may process IP or user-agent information for security. User profiles do not receive marketing IP or UTM fields from sign-up hooks.

Optional usage counts

Analytics are disabled until you choose Allow analytics in the footer. The preference is stored in your browser. Events contain only a random event identifier, event type, an allowed page path and a coarse source category such as Google, Bing or ChatGPT. They do not contain text, email, query strings or sign-in tokens. A coarse traffic-source category is kept in session storage only after consent, so a tool completion can retain the source of the consenting visit. Declining stops future analytics requests and clears that category. No advertising or third-party tracking scripts are active.

Choices and requests

Change email preferences from your account, or use the separate unsubscribe link without signing in. Unsubscribing does not delete the account. Privacy, access and deletion requests should use the owner-verified channel on the contact page once it is configured. No progress broadcasts are sent automatically.
